4-Week Wheel Throwing Course

Join us for a comprehensive four-week introductory course designed to take you from raw clay to finished, functional ceramic pieces. Perfect for absolute beginners or anyone looking to refresh their skills, this structured series will guide you through the entire ceramic process.

Weekly Course Breakdown

• Week 1: Introduction to the pottery wheel and learning the fundamentals of throwing.
• Week 2: Continuing to practice and build your wheel throwing skills.
• Week 3: Learning to trim and refine your leather-hard pieces.
• Week 4: Glazing your bisqued work with our studio's selection of colors.

What’s Included in Your Ticket

• 4 Weekly Studio Sessions (2 hours of instruction per class)
• All necessary clay, house glazes, and firing costs (both bisque
• Use of all necessary throwing tools, bats, and buckets
• Dedicated shelf space to store your work-in-progress pieces during the course
  
• Up to 8 finished pieces at the end of the course

Your finished pottery will be fired one final time after the glazing class. Pieces are typically ready for pickup 1 to 2 weeks after the course concludes. We will notify you via email when they are ready to take home!

A note on attire: Clay washes out easily, however you will get dirty so we recommend wearing clothes and shoes you can get messy in!
