Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can kids participate in a pottery class?
Kids can join private workshops as long as they meet the age requirements for the specific class type. We’re happy to help you choose the right pottery workshop in Waco based on your group. If you have a mixed-age party, just let us know and we’ll guide you through the best setup.
-
What should we wear to a private pottery workshop?
You should wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little clay on. Pottery is hands-on and can get a bit messy, even though the clay washes out easily. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety and comfort. Many guests also like to tie back long hair and remove rings or watches before their private pottery class.
-
What’s included in a private pottery class?
All of our private pottery workshops in Waco include clay, tools, apron use, instruction, glazing, and firing. Your group won’t need to bring anything except enthusiasm and a willingness to try. We prepare the studio before you arrive so everything runs smoothly. After class, we finish your pieces and notify you when they’re ready for pickup.
-
How far in advance should we book pottery classes?
It’s best to book your pottery class at least a few weeks in advance. Weekends and evenings fill quickly, especially during busy seasons. Booking early gives you the best chance of getting your preferred time. If you’re planning a special event or larger group, reaching out sooner is always helpful.
